MPs have condemned the ‘systematic and serious’ tax avoidance by big companies like Starbucks, Macdonalds, and Burger King.

The Chancellor, George Osborne, condemned the greedy megacorps, calling their tax regimes an ‘insult to the British people.’

‘It’s unforgivable that they’re obeying the tax laws we made,’ he thundered, thumping his fist roundly on the big mahogany table in the middle of Parliament.

‘How dare they stick to the law, just because we passed it.

‘I mean, we only did it because they asked us to.’
