DUNCAN SMITH: ‘MARLEY’S GHOST WAS WRONG’

In Uncategorized on January 4, 2013 at 10:10 am

The Works and Pensions secretary, Mr Ian Duncan Smith, has rejected calls from the ghost of Jacob Marley to repent and muster a crumb of basic humanity.

‘We are taking the findings of the Marley commission very seriously,’ he told MPs. ‘But at the end of the day, honest bankers don’t like leaving home in the dark hours of the early morning, to step over the recumbent corpse of their former next-door neighbour who died of exposure on their front lawn in the night.”

“God help us, every one,” said Tiny Tim (4), a pauper from Whitechapel.
